Intellectual property

Ecostone® is a concept that comprises different aspects which all have been protected by law.  The paving method, methods for producing the characteristic paving stones, paving machines, etc. have been internationally patented; the brand name ‘ecostone’ and its logo have been registered as a trademark; several designs of characteristic paving stones have been registered as a Community design and the ecostone® concept is supported by different domain names.  StoneTech bvba is the exclusive owner of the full rights concerning the ecostone® concept.  The commercialisation is ordered by means of licences.  It has to be stressed that for this reason, StoneTech bvba has no responsibility with respect to the actual application of the described paving method in each respective territory.
